Pastor Marcus Jones
Pastor Marcus J. Jones was born in Los Angeles, Ca. to Donald Lee And Lauretta Jones. He attended John C. Fremont High. then moved to Houston,TX. where God saved him in 1985 at the age of 22, filled him with the gift of the Holy Ghost in 1986 at Emmanuel COGIC during a Revival. Later He attended The C.H. Mason Bible College and Institute, He was ordained as an Elder under Supt. Hewett Richardson Sr. in the year of 2006, while under the supervision of Texas South Central Jurisdiction, and Leadership of Bishop N.H. Henderson.
In the year of 2008 under the leadership of Chairman Hewett Richard Sr. he was sent out to pastor a small church in Cleveland TX. Robinson Memorial COGIC; He served there faithfully 2 an a half years. In July, 2010 He later was relocated to Houston and Founded New Genesis Church of God In Christ. And now serve up under the newly appointed Bishop Hewett J. Richardson Sr. of the Texas Central Metropolitan jurisdiction. He is a second Generation of the Church of God in Christ.
Pastor Marcus J. Jones also conducts a Mission Service at Independence Hall, in Houston TX, where He Serves and Ministers to the needs of those who are of poor in spirit and those who have infirmities, He has served there from the year of 2010 till present.
Pastor Marcus J. Jones is a loving Husband and Father, He and First Lady Mary A. Jones just celebrated their 6 year Anniversary, of a Beautiful and Blessed Marriage.
Pastor Marcus J. Jones is a prayerful man of God, who believes and acts on Gods word, according to the scripture that says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.
First Lady Mary Jones
FirstLady Mary A. Jones is the daughter of Willie D. and Lillian Montgomery. Evang. Mary A. Jones. She was saved at the early age of twelve at Philadelphia C.M.B.C. under Pastor W. McSwan. Later at the age of twenty seven, she received the Gift of the Holy Ghost, during a week revival, at First United Pentecostal Church, under the leadership of Pastor Gary Meadows.?
Evangelist Mary A. Jones, is the youngest of seven children, and mother of four children, the grandmother of nine, she attended, U.S. Grant High School, in Portland OR. And later attended TCMJ School of Licensure, In Houston TX, in the year 2011, at the completion of her studies, she received Her Evangelist /Missionary License. She also assists her husband / Pastor Marcus J. Jones, in the Mission field.?
Evangelist Mary A. Jones, was appointed to serve as an administrator over the Pastors and Ministers Wives Dept, in the East Houston District. Under the supervision of District Missionary Darks, She also serves at New Genesis COGIC, as an administrator over the Mission Dept, Women’s Dept and the Program Committee.
Evangelist Mary A. Jones, believes in the power of prayer and Divine healing according to the scriptures. Pastor and First lady Jones served as youth Leaders at Emmanuel Church of God In Christ and the Lord blessed in a mighty way, while under the leadership of Supt, Hewett Richardson Sr. and now the Lord has blessed them with a large following of young souls, truly God has anointed them for such a time as these, they are looking to have a great impact in the community in which the Lord has placed them.
